Journal editor Jill Meier stopped by the tennis courts Thursday morning in Brandon and at Sioux Falls Washington, where she caught Brandon Valley’s flight 5 Andrew Hanson, flight 3 Jacob Frantzen and flight 4 Evan Talcott in action on day one of the state boys tennis tournament. Rainy weather may dictate the tournament moves indoors. Flights 1-3 singles and 1-2 doubles will be played at Whether Family Match Pointe in Sioux Falls, flights 4-5 singles and 3 doubles will be played at Great Life at Woodlake in Sioux Falls, and flight six singles will be played at the Country Club of Sioux Falls.
