Help CHS fight hunger
Brandon’s CHS location is gathering donations of money, food and crops to help fight hunger March 1-20. Collected donations will be delivered to regional food banks and food donations will be given to the Brandon Area Food Pantry.
“Hunger is a reality for more than 50 million people in America. That’s one in six who doesn’t have access to enough food,” said Kent Mulder, general manager. “We’re working together to make a difference for those in need.”
Financial donations are encouraged, because they enable food banks to leverage their buying power to provide nutritious food at deeply discounted prices.
“Our local communities also win when CHS Country Operations makes an additional contribution to help friends and neighbors right here in our community. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to multiply the impact of every donation we make,” Mulder said.
Donations can be dropped off at any CHS location or mailed to CHS H4H, PO Box 20, Brandon, SD 57005. Checks should be made payable to CHS H4H. To learn more, call 582-2415.
