Austin Risty, 95

Funeral services for Austin Julian Risty, 95, of Garretson, were held Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church, Garretson. Interment was in the Brandon Lutheran Cemetery.

Mr. Risty died Thursday, May 23, 2019, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. 

Survivors include his wife, Joyce, Garretson; children, Gullick (Connie) Risty, St. James, Minn., Mary (David) Stoterau, Sioux Falls, Berton (Barb) Risty, Sherman, John (Cheryl) Risty, LeMars, Iowa, Karen (Eldon) Kolander, Lakefield, Minn., Sharon (Tom) Snyder, Aberdeen; sisters:, Mary Datri, Tucson, Ariz., and Dorothy Risty-Schon, Ft. Collins, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and brothers-in-law, Robert Waring, Belton, Texas, Nels Benson, Hills, Minn., and Norm (Elaine) Benson, Garretson.
