Photos with Santa
at Bottoms Up
Santa Claus will be making a stop from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 at Bottoms Up, 25989 482nd Ave., Corson.
The jolly old elf will be available for photos and goodies will be served. Parents are encouraged to bring their own cameras to snap away, but Santa does request that donations be made to help the Pink Ladies cause, which is aiding those in the area fighting cancer.
Valley Springs church plans family movie night
Valley Springs Reformed Church, 701 Sunnyside, will host a family movie night at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, to kick off the Christmas season. “Polar Express” will be shown and refreshments will be provided.

Lutheran Advent Brunch
Brandon Lutheran’s Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (WELCA) will host its annual Advent Brunch starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the church. Tickets are $8 each and may be purchased in between Sunday morning and Wednesday evening worship services.
The event includes devotions and prayer, brunch, door prizes and entertainment by Will & Howard. Raffle tickets for a Christmas wall hanging, fleece blanket, wreath and more will be sold.
