WATERTOWN – South Dakota’s Girls 16U & 19U National teams hit the road for Denver, Colo., last week for the USA Hockey Tier II National Tournaments, which was held April 29-May 3.
South Dakota’s team of 14-and-under hockey players ended their championship run against the Alaska Stars in the quarterfinal round of the national hockey tournament. Team South Dakota lost 2-6.
Lauren Kemner carded a 50 on a windy May 3 afternoon on the Madison golf course to claim medalist honors. Despite Kemner’s effort, the Lady Lynx lost the match 219-232.

A delegation of four Brandon Valley pitchers kept the Lennox bats silent in Friday’s 11-0 nightcap win on the road. In the earlier game, BV handed the Orioles a 9-1 setback.
