Jo Hausman wears many hats in her daily life. She’s a business owner, property manager, business coach, motivational speaker, radio show host, alderwoman on the city council, a daughter, a mother, and now, a two-time author.
Students and staff at Brandon Valley Intermediate School teamed up to be responsible citizens of the community during Lynx Way Day on Oct. 19. Students started their day of responsibility with various homeroom activities.
When Greg and Sheri Carmon moved their business, Midwest Railcar Repair, from downtown Sioux Falls to the countryside north of Brandon in 1999, they also pledged to be difference-makers in their new surroundings.
The Teels, a family band that has been playing together over 30 years, will cap off the Mighty Corson Art Players’ 35th anniversary celebration Sunday, Sept. 17.
